Why is Dynamo Taxis doing so badly? Well too many transfers for a start. For example I've made 24 against Gerry and Steve's 13. The next highest is Don with 18.

Another 3 this week so 8pts deducted.

Sadly it's a management game that thumbs its nose at you, whenever you dare to actually manage. It's the football equivalent of HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I picked Torres and then took him out. Defoe better score a hat trick.

I think Dons overtaken me
So it seems to have been worth the -8 points

Not sure if I'll get more pts
If Suarez is suspended will they make my Vice captain captain instead?

Yes!

I had an ok week, but should have gone with my original instinct of Torres.

WITHOUT FAIL, every season, this time of year, players with Christmas-y names score goals. Sadly I forgot this and, on Friday night, got rid of Demba Ba-humbug and SANTA Cazorla.

Ba scored of course, and I expect Cazorla to do likewise tonight. :(

Walcott's my captain this week, so come on Theho-ho-ho!

Hats off to your 218 overall ranking, Gerry. Hugely impressive; what's your secret?

It's mostly luck Don tbh. There's only a couple of tips I can give, try and pick players who are playing out of position (Michu is classed as a midfielder in the game but is playing up front) and try not to take any points hits on transfers. I've resisted so far, even though I couldn't get 11 players out this week.

And there she goes :)

That's it for me, then - I quit. Best of luck to everyone else involved.

Just the fantasy league or BCG? People will ask.

I'm very lucky that I had Taraabt and Cazorla in my team this week or it would have been a bad score. I think I'll be high 50s once my subs are factored in though. Not had much luck with my strikeforce recently. Ugggh!

Anyway, congrats to Gerry who is flying high indeed.

After putting together a pretty good team this week I'm pretty pissed to be passed on points by deadbeats captaining Van Persie and too lazy or stupid to have sold Cazorla. (Not you Ben).

23 points for that f**king cone-head dwarf. Arsenal are playing so inconsistently at the moment that anyone who fielded a gunner tonight was either a diehard fan or a twat. Even against Championship wannabes Reading. F**king hell.

Gerry has had Faustian levels of luck the last few weeks. And Don, there is no need to ask FF advice from a man who captains Theo Walcott.

I thought Dan was jammy the other week when he got Routledge subbed on but Gerry must have a horseshoe stuck up his arse. He's milked Fellaini and Ba dry.

That was a clever tactical... erm... sommat.

You know what? My team beat Arsenal and are in the semi-finals of any cup! So I don't care a jot about any of this, frankly!

DISCLAIMER: ... till next week, when it'll become the most important thing ever over Christmas, as the points go mental and everything changes

Dan

Cheek, that was a masterstroke. He's classed as a midfielder in the game, but was playing up front against the team with the worst defence in the league. I'm considering myself unlucky that I didn't absolutely clean up last night :)

Why didn't Cazorla score a hat trick again? I was hoping that would become a common occurence. I've put Aguero and Tevez up front this week. Could be risky, but hopefully they'll spank Reading.
