Um H and H+ is like super 3G.

I thought 3G was faster? What the hell is E? I know it's short for EDGE, but is that faster/slower than 3G?

I think it goes - 2G - 3G - 3GEDGE - H - H+ - 4G

You learn something new every day.

Right, so, if I play a YouTube video on this computer and use the scrollwheel on my mouse, it causes the audio from the YT video to jump. WTF?!

I'm sick of squinting at my iPod touch all the time with it's tiny screen

Can anyone recommend a decent tablet priced at between £100 a £150

Pretty much just for Internet use

And the odd video and mp3

Nowt flashy like an iPad as I wouldnt use it that much

I'd be interested in the Kindle Fire. Not seen one up close but I remember when they first came out they got pretty good reviews, although I could be wrong??

Yeah I have looked at them

Can you do everything that you can do on a laptop?

Or is it just a glorified kindle ?

I've heard good things about the kindle fire, too. It's a proper tablet, it's not just an ereader, though it is geared towards its connection with amazon so they make a loss on each unit but expect to recoup that money by having you buy books and music etc from amazon.

I'm not sure? Don't buy a tablet expecting it to replace your laptop. Browsing the internet, playing basic games and using general "apps" would be fine but anything more advance like word processing will probably not work quite as well.

Yea just browsing the internet, email and the odd app

Them samsung galaxy tablets look good

Would never buy another apple product

All that iTunes bullshit you have to go through is a pain

A loss on every unit ?!

I wondered why they were so cheap

That was the case when they first launched in the US, and as they are essentially the same price now I assume it's still true.

One thing I like to do before buying a new gadget is browse YouTube for reviews. Some of them geeks are pretty thorough.

They have some basic ones on amazon for under fifty notes now

Get pretty good reviews too

But the one sooty recommends seems pretty perfect

I just hope it doesn't make me double post all the frigging time like it does with him!
