They've all got the minds of middle-aged women though.

Ah, mystery solved!
Just watched the last ep of The Hour. Didn't realise until the credits rolled but I was tensed up the whole time watching it! Some really excellent acting.

It was very good, but what was the point of the "searching for our lost child" subplot?

What was the point of Marnie as TV chef subplot or the radio play subplot or the racism subplot? It added some depth to the characters and allowed for some brilliant performances, and also showed the range of issues that people experience. It would have been pretty dry to just have the El Paradis stuff going on. I found the Capaldi/Chancellor subplot very moving and underplayed.
Just watched the first episode of A Young Doctor's Notebook. Most enjoyable.
Yawning my way through another tedious Hignfy....
I'm enjoying it.

For some inexplicable reason I have seen that movie. All the way through. Why have I seen that?
I just tried to watch that. But, no.
Not even for John Cusack.
It's Linda's fun in a not very good short of way
It's a bit shit but I'm a sci fi fan. I like any old tosh with a bit of time travel in.
I thought it had it's funny moments.
Maybe if the section before the sci fi bit wasn't in the style of a childish, unfunny college comedy with vomiting on squirrels and the like, I'd have got that far.
