British Comedy Awards 2012

Is this debacle going to get funny anytime soon?

Though pleased to see Charlie Brooker getting something.

Hunderby for best sitcom; out of the four listed, it's probably the one I'd have gone for too.

Haven't seen it, so will have to take your word for it. Just glad it wasn't the borefest that is Twenty Twelve.

Nice to see Coogan drinking a Fosters then making a 'bleurgh' face. Laughing out loud

In fairness, the whole show is as bland and watery as Fosters so far

Might be because the PR company working for Fosters who funded Midmorning Matters have been sacked by parent company Heineken UK. Fosters will only be doing the telly sponsorship of established shows from now on.

Poor Oliva Coleman, nominated twice but still losing.

Poor other comedy women who could have had one of her two nominations. (She's great, but two?!)

Anyone else running up a huge phone bill voting for Jack Whitehall as the 'King of Comedy'?

Errr

How can Jo Brand and Sue Perkins be nominated for one episode of HIGNFY? Or do they take other appearances onboard?

They couldn't nominate Olivia Colman again, because if she lost it, then they'd have her suicide blood on their hands.

:D

Did Jonathon Ross make that mistake about Pointless on purpose? He seemed to have no idea.
