Official BCG Christmas drinks - 7th December Page 19

I've been at all the drinks you've expressed concern about

I'm pretty sure you haven't. The reference to photos being shown, dates back from an incident in 2009. Caused a right old stir, people arguing, leaving the site, etc. The thread is probably still around, if you fancy a gander.

You only joined last year, so there's a lot of BCG history and in-jokey references you won't be aware of.

Indeed, hence me specifying a year in the part of my post you didn't quote! Looking forward to meeting you at the next drinks.

I'd like to know where it is first. Harvesters are good.

Saturday was one of THE BEST meetups ever! Was great seeing everyone, and having a good laugh with you all.

I just wish the trains ran later, so we didn't have to get the last tube home, but I did it in style with my £20 bottle of wine. Thanks Gerry.

Friday was good. Sorry I missed the Saturday one, it sounds awesome!

It was up in Manchester
We kept it quiet because we knew that no one would be interested

A meal is a good idea don, is there a particular Harvester you're fond of/can get to easily?

So good to see you, and in such a stylish coat too

I'm happy to travel anywhere - if it means I get to meet you, AJGO. If the restaurant idea doesn't prove popular, how would you feel about doing something a bit more active, an afternoon visit to London Zoo perhaps?

The Plough in Old Malden is highly recommended, and is located right in the centre* and is easily accessible from anywhere**. It's salad bar is also right up there with the very best of Harvester's.

I'd love to go for an afternoon visit to London Zoo! We could do that then go for a meal & drinks somewhere, although doesn't look like there are any Harvesters nearby. Would you be up for that, or will only a Harvester do for don?

Spoiler: He shows you his "monkey".

That's ok, once it's not his snake.
