Gave blood this morning and thought I'd treat myself to a nice high-calorie lunch so I stopped in at a new posh chippy which has rave reviews in all the papers. Probably the worst fish and chips I've ever had in my life. Tasted like it had been deep fried for 20 minutes and then dipped in a little extra oil for safe measure. Bleh. Next time I'll have a salad instead!

with posh chippies I always go for matza meal or panko bread crumbs, they're the only ones that seem to benefit
