Imagine how great it could have been if Cronenberg had made it.

That would be great, zooo. But Cronenberg's a one off. And as the saying goes, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas!

Laughing out loud

The Woman In Black. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Radcliffe is a bit young to be playing a widower, even a young one, but he makes a decent fist of it. And the film has a nice sense of sustained creepiness that I haven't seen since Frostyboy's heyday.

Ted.

It was enjoyable, but I'd have liked to see it more crazy & less Rom-Commy

My review was better.

My review was a bit Johnny Vaughn.

Whistling nnocently :P

:O

The Dark Knight Rises. Very enjoyable conclusion to the trilogy. Tom Hardy's not bad as Bane, although Anne Hathaway steals the film as Catwoman.

The Descendants. Any film featuring a mother in a coma is not going to be my sort of thing, but this was tolerable in parts. Nothing happened much toward the end though, presumably I was meant to cry or something. Ain't gonna happen.

Snow White and the Huntsman - overly ambitious and a little ridiculous as a result. Shame.

I watched half an hour of Moonrise Kingdom the other day, but it bored me, so I switched off.

I've just seen Blitz, a British crime 'thriller'. A plot with more holes than Rab C Nesbitt's vest, wooden performances, nonsensical and unexplored sub-plots, a full-house of cliche bingo, and Jason Statham.

On the plus side, it was quite short.

Hunter Prey, a low budget sci-fi. It's nicely shot with some interesting themes. The director's major influences show through a bit obviously at times, but well worth a viewing.

I actually want to see that. :$ I like a bit of Stath. And it's got Aiden Gillen and Paddy Considine too. They're no slouches.

And it's got Aiden Gillen

IT DOES?

I should really check his imdb page more often.
