Arrested Development Page 8

Just started on season 3 last night to complete the set and it is so enjoyable. That pause between Michael and Lucille took forever and I wondered why it was there. Then just before they started up again I got it :D GOB is amazing, Michael, George Michael, Barry, all terrific, I could go on and on. And Ron Howard must be the perfect narrator.

I remember reading about one of the writers for Happy Days. He was saying when it first started and he went in for a meeting, the producer told him they had a character called Fonz but 'you don't have to use him in your script as we're not sure he's going to work out'.

There's afair amount of talk of an Arrested Developmetn movie in the works, how cool would that be?

Loved this show. Watched it all but it was on at a very bad time.

I'd rather they didn't. The joy of Arrested Development was that they condensed a movies worth of jokes into a crisp twenty-two minutes. Less is very often more.

Arrested Development The Movie CONFIRMED!!

This could totally piss on the legacy but I mean with a writing team so damn good and a cast so damn perfect, it can't be that bad can it. COME ON! :)

Woot! \o/

It's not really confirmed though is it? There's been talks. Still, good news.

It's confirmed because before Bateman always use to say, "I'd like there to be a film, but it's up to the writers". Now Mitch Hurwitz has actually confirmed he wants to make the film and the cast obviously want to as well. Obviously they have to write the thing and find a buyer, but I'm pretty sure that won't be hard to find. :)

Ditto. I wouldn't class it as a confirmation of anything more than "yes, we are considering it in a serious manner now". Hundreds of movies have got much further than this and then never happened, so to say it's confirmed by that article is pushing it a bit.

Hate to rain on the parade 'n' all, but yeah. Certainly promising news for fans though. :)

Yeah but it's confirmed that they are going to do it. Yes it's not confirmed if it'll get picked up, but I'm sure it will. But after all the talk of will they/won't they, Mitch has now finally confirmed that he wants to do the film.

Yeah but it's confirmed that they are going to do it.

Is it? That's a big step up from the article, which is essentially a drawn out "yes, we are now discussing it seriously".

Oooh

Tobias might be making an appearance in Scrubs. Albeit I read that on wikipedia and the source was E! online ah well it would be cool to see the "analrapist" again

I think they have breached the writer's strike and should all be taken out to the back of the Kazi and shot.

I wonder if they could find the time to get together again. Jason Bateman and Michael Cera's careers in particular seem to have really taken off (both can be seen in Juno this week).
