I beg to differ, comedy is subjective and just because you don't 'Get It' it doesn't mean it's no good nor does it deserve to be panned because you can't relate to it.
I think it covers subjects that are hard to get away with unless its funny and that was funny, its a matter of taste not judgement.
March Diary Page 2
I gave up reading 1st time & I've given up again.
Maybe there are some funny bits in there, but to be honest I don't think I would find this very funny even if I was 15.
But I would have found it slightly funnier than I do now definitely.

Do you relate to a vile, sweary, wank obsessed man then, Teddy..?
It wasn't badly written, but I personally have no interest in reading this sort of thing.

To right, everybody was writing Jimmy Saville jokes and that happened for real and there was pats on the backs all around, this is fiction, where has it all gone wrong
I don't get what you mean.
What pats on the backs were there?
Apart from getting laid and having a job, it's almost my life.
There's even a Tescos in my town. It's uncanny.

In the forums everyone was chucking in a Jimmy Saville sketch, people were lovin them
There were a couple of Jimmy Saville jokes I thought were funny.
But most of them seemed to be old paedo jokes recycled.
I didn't see many sketches though, maybe there were some great ones.
But I bet the majority were awful
I've got to say I didn't get passed the first paragraph, not my cup of tea, but live and let live
I got to be honest, I always click on a thread to see what it is about, and if it is a YouTube video I will click on it and have a look, and if it is a sketch I will read it but long sketches I tend to avoid, but I always give them a go, So I gave this one a go and I wanted to read it all, because I liked it.

I don't tend to read anything to long unless it really grabs me, especially if it looks to dense. Comedy is very subjective, that's the beauty of it, we all find different things funny, as long as someone finds it funny then it works

Yes indeed it is, and let us not get stuck in our ways

Much is made of modern comedy and moving with the times. But funny is funny. I don't like comedy that is too graphic or too sweary,in my opinion comedy should be sly and subtle. Peter Cook did the outright shock comedy years ago and though groundbreaking it wasn't any where near as funny as his earlier work. I find that kind of comedy a bit of a cul de sac, but I could just be getting old.

Yes It's a bit like music, in fact it is a lot like music, we each like our different types and slag off the other types, and as we get older we slag off the new stuff call it shit and refuse to give it a listen. But every now and then there is a universal feeling that these are good beats, but not often
People who found it too crude, can only see art in poetic plays...
People who found it too long, they read through to the end...
People who don't "get the character" don't "get" people who are only themselves...
I just thought it was f**cking funny...
A few bits "could/should" be trimmed, but in who's eyes, this is dark "underclass" comedy in its rawest form... Oh yay, lets trim it up for itv prime time :/
Ace, loved every bit, nearly phased myself march 20th
