What episode is the best from The Royle Family? I like the Christmas special.
Best Royle Family episode
Anthony's birthday is one of my favourites. Mainly because Darren is in it.

There has been a few Christmas specials, so I take it you mean the most recent one?
My favourite is the episode in Series 2 where Nana and Twiggy come over for Sunday dinner.
Seeing this on the first page of the Sitcom section, thought it was the best place to ask, is the ditched 2011 special 100% happening this year?
I say 100% , I mean has it been commissioned?
Kall may be long gone...but his spirit lives on in his "best episode"-threads. ;-)
We'll always remember him in our hearts Or, to be more accurate, in our brains.

It was commissioned last year. The question is whether it's been filmed. To that, I haven't a clue.
Ah, I expected the commission might stand back when it was announced it wouldn't happen last year.
I expect it won't be filmed until November, they always film 'em late.
Mine has to be the one where Barbara walks out in a huff, and they watch 'Who wants to be a Millionaire'

Has to the be the one where Jim and Twiggles are scraping the wallpaper off. Really looking forward to the Christmas special, hope it's good. The specials have been patchy but I've still enjoyed them all.
My favourite joke that stands out for me is when Dave is reading the book and pauses at unfortunate moments. Brilliant.
no chip pan Ba!

Can't belive there's going to be another Christmas special, the last two have been awful. Dave and Denise have gone from being a bit dim to utter imbeciles and Jim Royle's rants are tiresome and unfunny.
