I think Ofcom should censure them for sloppy script editing

I mean:

Jade: "I'm proof that someone with no qualifications and no skills can make it. I got me tits out, I got famous, done an autobigeography, done a perfume then called someone a poppadum and everyone hated me, then I got public cancer and everyone loved me again... which goes to show racism is unacceptable... unless you've got terminal illness, in which case who f**king cares?"

You'd think with the writing credits the team have accumulated they might have learned a bit about saying things with subtext.

You mean get people up in arms and make more bods watch the show?

Strange, that.

I think I've said elsewhere that you can have the funniest show in the world and if doesn't make you think, it does seem a waste.

Aside from Monkey Dust have we done a decent cartoon comedy...? I didn't like it to be honest. Didn't like the style, writing was a bit meh, but also I knew Richard Ayoade was voicing but didn't fit the character.

Was 2DTV good? I can't remember...

Richard Ayoade is a nerd-or appears to be.

This character is a nerd.

Is it because he is black?

No just something seemed strange, probably didn't help I was half asleep. Did you enjoy it??

*edit* I thought of what I mean, you know when you 'know the voice' so can't can't help but think of the actor. Bit like when famous people do voice overs on animated films, you think 'Oh that's Raymond from Everybody Loves Raymond, not a mammoth' (etc)

Fair, I mean adult... :D

I actually didn't mind the first three episodes too much. There were some funny moments, but a lot of unnecessary padding.

What does somewhat confuse me a bit is the character design. I mean, as an example, the middle child Jason. He's meant to be the sporty 'jock' of the family, yet he sports a rather sizable (beer?) belly. What's that about? That really doesn't make any sense to me. But maybe that's just me being thick :P

Did you recognise any other of the other voices-Daisy Beaumont and Rosie Cavallero for instance?

Afraid not no

Bromwell High.

The way this looked reminded me of Meet The Newmans. I only watched a few minutes though and remember little else.

Daisy Beaumont was in Star Stories and plays Dr Natalie Sachet in A Touch of Cloth.

Rosie Cavaliero is a Emma Kennedy-a-like who plays Paula in Spy and played various characters in Bellamy's People.

I've just watched this on DVD and I have ot say I enjoyed it more than I did when it aired. I only watched the first 2 when it was on TV I think and I still groaned with the old jokes, such as Jade and Princess Di etc, but on a whole not a bad series

I think this is very good

If this is the on where Jamie Oliver goes back in time to make people eat their greens, then it was brilliant. Is this the right show?
