Putting up Christmas tree saturday, ridiculous I know, but my three year old is so excited I couldn't help but agree 
I did some Christmas shopping yesterday. On Oxford Street. It was dark, and there were big Christmas lights all down the road, and Heals on Tottenham Court Road has Christmas-tree-esque covering at the front. It took all my willpower to not be cheery and Christmassy because it is still November and one must have principles. Because I had no remaining willpower I ate three slices of chocolate cake. It was lovely. There endeth AJGO's not particularly interesting revelation for the day morning post.
It's at expensive times like Christmas I'm glad most of my family are dead.
It's my Birthday weekend, so have drinks and parties to go to on the Friday and the Saturday. After a week of poncing about at various play readings and being all cultural, it will make a lovely contrast to spend an evening face down in vomit (preferably my own).

Afraid not, that London is far away and kids and family stuff and the fact my wife would kill me slowly, but maybe next time. Have a few for me.
My sons birthday on Sunday, popping out for cheap meal at Bar8 in Manc.
Have lots of decorating to do before Christmas 
Trouble is we are going away for 4 nights next week 
This weekend I'm heading off to an academic library to do some research. Genuinely looking forward to it. Social lives are for other people!
