I enjoyed it but I do worry about the irony of going on a diet to lose weight while upping your cigarette smoking. Plus, the diet itself sounds mental!

Really? It's competently written but it's not very funny and it's rather self indulgent and waffely. I guess I don't always get jokes.

You're welcome! You'll probably find that the best way to get better is simply to keep on writing. That way you'll get a feel for what's working and what isn't.
