Hi a friend and I have started writing topical jokes together and wanted to see what you thought.
'Cocaine makes you arrogant, aloof and over confident which is why it was only when Frankie Dettori left France that anyone noticed he'd taken it.'
'Lance Armstrong has distanced himself from the charity he founded Livestrong, Dettori has followed suit and distanced himself from Talk To Frank.'
We thought these were the best that we had come up with what do you think?

They're both good ideas and quite short but I'd go back and edit them
So you're not explaining end on the punch and are shorter
Thanks for that I think the second one maybe easier to edit back to make it punchier.
The talk to frank reference is a bit dated
And I think if you're going to use it play up the dugsreference
Good point we were using the Talk To Frank reference as a play on Franke's name and thought it would be a good way to link similar stories.
Yeh there's lots of jokes in it.

I think that one may have been done Frank Bough etc but get your point and lots of ideas came out of our writing session.
