Jimmy Savile Page 54

Booyah!

Nb could some one find the photo of suuttcliffe frank Bruno and Seville having a chin wag I can't be bothered

The Savile Story's got so creepy now, you do wonder why not one of his many accusers 10 or 20 years ago, didn't just take him on! No one actually went for the jugular, they just suggested he might be a pevert then folded when he got humpy and denied it. Theroux had the biggest chance to press him, or really go to town on an expose of his past, instead he ended up being quite matey with him!!

Those pretty damning Clunk Click and TOTP clips on YouTube now have always been there in BBC's archives, so why was it beyond a documentary maker like Theroux to investigate them?

I think the roux got a confession by being matey

The issue is no one took it further

Two exclaimation marks - we know we're back in sane minded territory now. The reason Theroux didn't make a citizen's arrest of Savile is because he is a gay jew!! I know it's true because I read it on the Internet!!

To think, I watched the Jimmy Savile interview and thought that he was an okay guy!! How can the BBC make me think that?!! Don't they know I'm a moron?!!

;) :P

A nice background article.
Probably the only balanced piece I've read so far.
Long but worth it.

Yeah quite good but the bit about blaming the good old british public for kind of living thier dull lives through ecentrics like JS, and therefore implying 'our' double standards now is bollocks.

Yes everyone loved him for being wacky etc.....but...that was before we knew he liked to finger your girls on a regualr basis.

My grandma loved Jim, but if she found out his fishy fingers were from digitally invading some young bint, and not from a chippy supper on Whitby prom, then Im sure she'd have f**kin hated him for ever.

The public can only form judgements based on what they are told/shown. Because the BBC, specifically, and the media in general decided to keep this secret then they are to blame.

Imagine in say 1976, at the end of a 'Jim'll fix it'broadcast, he said 'Well guys n gals.that's it for this week - see you all next week and Im off to jizz over a pack of brownies (trainee girl guides - not american biscuits)'

He'd have been history pronto. He didnt because he knew the system worked for him - and built a wall.

Some of us were surprised it was girls :O

I'm a bit late to the party but has everyone seen this video?

Pretty amazing how bold he was. He just gropes that girl's crotch right on camera on live TV. This was a man with a sense of total impunity.

Someone needs to kick him in the face. Well bring him back to life and then kick him in the face.

Not at all, I watched that interview and when Sir Jimmy talks about working in a nightclub and beating rival gangsters in a boiler room, that's all I needed to know.

But for your thickie, chavvy Brit Pub, they probably loved it. You know the kind of people, they watch all the gangster films, buy the books written by gangsters, want to either be or date a gangster - and then complain when they get burgled or robbed.

These same scumbags were also loving it because one of their 'working class heroes' was seemingly getting one over on specky, middle class, well spoken Theroux.

The British Public can ram themselves up their own fudge tunnels. Bunch of fickle head giggle twits.

Why you gotta drag Sooty into this? Bad form.

Stott have you been drinking again?

I've never been burgled, bugled or buggered.

And it's Lofthouse who likes books on the mafia.

Silly Stott.
