21 goals in two live games?

Yikes.

If you read the caption he's always wanted to be an 'unidentified fan' watching basketball. His dream has come true it seems...

'Spain' isn't a race.

Race or not. I can't see the difference between "Spanish/black/ginger/(etc.) twat". It's still verbal abuse, targeting one common factor in a different group.

Plenty of wars and death has been dealt-out over the years due to the dislike and distrust of other nations, just as it has been dealt-out over the dislike and distruct of other races.

Yet, ripping on other countries is "a laugh", while ripping on other races is "the worst thing in the world". I don't see the huge difference.

Fans ripped Glenn Roeder to pieces about his brain tumour, and get a ticking-off. A similar wrist-slap has been seen with chants about various football-related deaths and rape allegations. However, when chants are racial in nature, everyone goes crazy.

Not condoning racial comments/chants for a second, but worse that chanting about (sometimes young) deaths? Really?

For the receord, I have never said anything racially abusive in my life, but am careful to not say anything zenophobic, homophobic (etc.) too. The lack of consistancy in society regarding this kind of thing has always been one of my gripes.

I am bored of these racism claims everywhere in football at the moment. If people start physically-attacking people based on nationality/race/sexuality, or even for no reason at all, throw the book at them. However, if it's verbal, just ignore them for the morons they are.

Some of this almost frenzied taken offence strikes me as people trying to be offended as possible for the sake of their own egos. "I'm so offended, so I must be a better person", while patronising the hell out of the group they are allegedly trying to protect.

There is certainly a lot of this going on, but what really strikes me as odd, is the assertion that you can remove inherent cultural racism from gangs of white working class young men through football attendance. Due to their upbringing, they are just dogmatically repeating slurs that have been ingrained on them since birth.

I think it's a big ask for the Premier League to act as the instigator for a massive cultural shift in attitudes amongst an entire demographic and an even bigger folly when they are blamed for not accomplishing this enormous task.

If you want to take racism out of football, then you need to take working class, white men out of the football crowd. When was the last time Lewis Hamilton had a 'monkey chant' aimed at him during a Grand Prix? How many bananas have been thrown during an Oxford-Cambridge boat race?

During the last World Cup I was persuaded to go watch the England v Germany game at the local snooker club which was packed full of blue collar chaps. The level of abuse being aimed at the plasma screen was just moronic and appalling. There was also a smattering of racism being aimed at the black players which just depressed me and led to me leaving early. Unfortunately, I think it's ingrained in the laddish, football culture and I'm not sure you can rid this from the collective psyche.

F**king donkey shagging lazy Spics - how can they afford to even have a Grand Prix, the broke ass Daygos. I'm glad the Moors f**ked their grannies and turned them into a race of tar babies. I hate racism.

That is really depressing and I think we've all been in a similar situation. And if you did have the balls to actually speak out against it, you'd be the one ostrasized and possibly beaten.

Is this really Arsenal's worst start to a season in God knows how many years? I remember at the start of last season and the 8-2 defeat that people were calling for Wenger's head, but I thought they weren't doing too bad until the last couple of weeks.

Last night an outraged United supporter who was at Stamford Bridge offered to be a witness in the Scotland Yard probe.
He said the Chelsea fan screamed foul-mouthed abuse all through the game - adding: "It was always to the coloured players in the Man U team."

Ooops . . .

1-1. 6mins+ left and the ref, unjustly, sends off Coloccini. F**king bullshit.

And Barcelona have a free kick in a Dangerous area.
Glasgow.

:)

Blimey. 2-0 now.

Glasgow handshake for Barcelona.
