Surely This Week has to be one of the funniest shows on telly.
From the spoof credits (last night's Bond Theme was excellent) to Neill's corny jokes the whole thing is a proper gut laugh from start to finish.
As an antiodote to the boo-yah of Question Time it's the perfect way to end the day.
Even Portillo comes across as funny (actually, he usually comes across pretty well no matter what he's on).
If the Channel4 are considering regurgitating 10 O'clock Live then they could do a lot worse than watch a few episodes to see how news AND satire AND the holy grail of 'irreverent chat' can fit into one.
My only bug bear is the rolling days of the week back drop.
I know the days of the week. Why not put some viewers pictures up instead?
