Quote: AJGO @ October 23 2012, 10:34 AM BSTAJGO feels all types of dreadful. Has anyone ever jacked their entire life in and just buggered off? (No 'I ran away to somewhere sunny but it turned out to be rainy' stories please! Although I do like those stories. Tell me those stories on the Weather thread )
Any time I've contemplated it, the practicalities get in theway. Like - where would I find the money to buy a Gregg's cheese and onion pastie?
Quote: David Bussell @ October 23 2012, 11:00 AM BSTI was absolute dogshit in it.
Seriously the hair out of place did not show that much.

You could always retire to the seaside and live in a beach hut? (With WiFi.)
That sounds nice, as long as it's a beach hut somewhere warm.
I'm okay, just very very tired, joints were massively hurting last week which isn't that big a thing and doesn't happen too often but is so tiring to be in constant pain. Now have cold and I take being ill as a personal insult! And project was/am working on was stressful cos no-one seemed to know what they were meant to be doing so I ended up doing everything without knowing what it was that we were really doing so now have loads of rewrites to look forward to even though this stage is meant to be finished, so was tired from and of that, and tired in advance too! Just want a couple of days where I don't feel ill or in pain, and no-one upsets me emotionally or professionally. I know, I can't have the world, but- actually, screw that, I WILL have the world, if just to cheer myself with an evil cackle... Mwahahahaha
Quote: Shandonbelle @ October 23 2012, 11:19 AM BSTDid just that many moons ago...not recommending it exactly though
Not recommending doing it many moons ago? So I should go to tropical climes now? And I can say Shandy made me do it..

Darn practicalities. Although I could go and work for a Greggs far far away... I am nothing if not resourceful. And massively grumpy, whingy, and fond of dully ranting on in great swathes of self pity. But resourceful too!
Left keys at work so had to go back and collect them
thats 3 hours well spent.
And its laundry night. So do I go into work smelly or tired?

Try both always works for me
Maybe I'll add drunk to that list.

Thought about it. I'm to lazy to pack everything. Might have to make do with a holiday somewhere.

If you have a spray bottle, mix a tiny amount of washing powder/detergent with water and very lightly spray the clothes and hang to dry.
Cold pretty much gone, had lovely chat with producer, skies dark, ribena hot, singing along to radio even though can't reach notes (Florence and the Machine- I'm putting the effort in!). Happy AJGO Happy Friday everyone!
Good that you're feeling happier. I've been to the dentist and don't need any fillings, so, yes, Friday's a good day.
Cold, crisp day, just took my little boy to the park, nice and sunny, autumn leaves everywhere, I do like this time of year
Well it's bloody freezing here, but sunny.
We've just had the wall at the bottom of the garden roughcast in a nice cream colour and are awaiting the local artists to spraypaint it with 'F**k the Polis' or some equally intellectual advice.

It's always nice to encourage youthful artistic outlets, rig up a a spray gun and fill it full of dog shit!

I'd need to know how to make it backfire - if that's the correct term.
