I was telling chopz awhile ago, if you learn to play that website right, you will get yourself some serious viral action going Or viral infection?? I forget which?

AJGO feels all types of dreadful. Has anyone ever jacked their entire life in and just buggered off? (No 'I ran away to somewhere sunny but it turned out to be rainy' stories please! Although I do like those stories. Tell me those stories on the Weather thread )

It's not that I'm anti-Reddit, I just can't get a handle on it. The site's a nightmare to look at and makes no sense to me.

What do you mean by play the website right? If you've got a smart promotional idea I'd be only too hapy to hear it.

The amount of audience potential on there is out of this world. A lot of it is based on luck, cats or boobies. You can be the biggest hit one day and never heard from again the next.

If I knew how to "play" the website right, I'd be all over it.

If you really don't know how it works or for anyone else reading. You start off on the "Frontpage (of the internet)" this is where the most popular material each day ends up. Through a series of "subreddits" links get "upvoted" (or "downvoted" and disappear into oblivion). Each subreddit is dedicated to a particular interest, hobby, belief, sports team, movie, interest, whatever.

So for example David, you could post one of your videos in the "Funny" subreddit. And anyone who likes it will "upvote" and if it get enough upvotes, it will make its way to either the top of the "Funny" subreddit or to the "Frontpage" where it will get viewed by millions of peeps who will post it on Facebook, etc.

It is luck, but I suppose if you have enough confidence in your material. Then there's no reason it won't shoot up and get lots of views anyway.

I'd post the one you did of Fight Club, they'd love that I bet

Thanks for the advice, Lee, I'll bear it in mind next time I have something I need to promote.

As for the Fight Club vid, I've long since relegated that to the trash can. It looked pretty but, as my first ever sketch, I was absolute dogshit in it.
