I went to see Eddie Izzard, back in '96/'97, and actually walked out during the half-time interval. I'd been impressed with him on T.V., but the first half of that show was just plain boring. The second half was no doubt funnier, but I just didn't have the patience to stay and find out.
I like Seinfeld's stand up. I just started watching Eddie Izzard stand up today as I had never heard of him until this string of posts. Clever but nothing that has even made me break a semi-smile.
Definite Article is Izzard's best one.
His accent in the Riches made me piss myself. Same with the bloke in the Class who used to be on Eastenders. I could do a more convincing American accent with the aid of a tin of baked beans and my arse

Adam thats why your not getting the part all casting directors just call you in to see you sit down with the baked bean tin up there...quite sick really .
