Yes, and I did consider that, but at the end of the day a child is still missing. While on balance everyone knows the gist of what's happened here someone's daughter still has to be found. Obviously I wouldn't expect Maddie's story to still be in the news but this story is only a fortnight old and I haven't heard anything for the best part of a week.

But if they mentioned every ongoing news story every day, the news would probably be longer than 24 hours per day!

Anyway, I think everyone's under the impression she's died now unfortunately, if she really was believed to be still missing, maybe they would still be mentioning her.

Actually seems to happen when I use WiFi no idea why oh my

SootyJ needs to calm down with his typing speed.

On a side note, I'm probably never going to be able to use Paypal again. FUCK YOU, PAYPAL!

Why not?

I've been meaning to ask, sooty, genuine question - why do you post twice so very often?

An impatient finger? God knows we've all had one of them at one point - eh, zooo?

It's still in the press. Yesterday I read they'd exhausted the town search but still had as many workers turning out for a wider search. Trouble is, since they're not making progress there's noting to report.

AJGO has been writing such silliness that she laughed out loud when a teabag touched her nose. Must be a grown-up and apply myself to serious matters. Do you know what I keep wondering- do clocks see clock faces in everything like how people have pareidolia?

Ben is fairly calm and currently cooking pasta.

Well even if she had been hidden away, alive. Alas by now she would have died of exposure, thirst or starvation. :( :( :( :(

Billwill has been coping with new coving.

One of Sootyj's fave episodes of STNG on Pick TV.

I think I'm probably the only aspiring sitcom writer who has two Halloween episodes but no pilot.

Sensible not writing a pilot

To give you an idea how your heartstrings can be twanged consider these consecutive (paraphrased) Facebook messages I saw today:

Missing my boy so much, 3 years today and the pain does not go away.....love & miss u forever son xxx

My heart is so full of pride It could burst. Tomorrow is the School Gold Pride Awards Ceremony....and [daughter] has been selected to receive a gold award due to her evidence of applying Olympic and Paralympic Values during the last academic year. I can safely say there will be tears tomorrow ...tears of joy and pride...xx

The first relates to child who did much in his community for charity and had overcome leukemia only to be hit by a speeding driver while riding his bike. They two children would've both been the same age.

Drinking a beer and waiting for my Chinese takeaway to arrive.

Mmmm I haven't had Chinese takeaway in aaaages.

I haven't had Chinese takeaway for nearly 4 months. :O
Must rectify.

L.E. bumped into SootyJ this morning. Not literally of course, just waiting at the bus stop. Nice start to the day!
