British Comedy Guide

Hello from Holland

Hi there !
I've been a long time fan of British comedy and I have a request/question, but will post that in the proper section of this forum (ie DVDs).

My all time favourite comedy (satire): The New Statesman.
But there are so many series that I like..

Anyway, see you all later and hope you can answer my question in the DVD section.

Welcome to the site Wave

Welcome aboard.

Hi Imajica Wave
I like "The New Statesman" too...

Hello. The New Statesman is good, I agree.

Ta for the welcome

Hi there Wave

Hi Imajica, I notice a lot of British sit-coms on in Holland and also saw a Dutch version of Only Fools and Horses and recognised what was going on despite the language difference.

Yes 'wat schuift het' it is called I believe, but I've never watched it. We get a lot of Britisch sit-coms overhere. But most shows I just watch on the BBC. Or one of those comedy channels with a lot of re-runs.
I never watch Dutch versions of British shows though, we also have a Dutch version of Have I got news for you which has been running on TV for quite a long time now, so it must be popular too.

Hiya I love your country. Please invite me over for the weekend.
