David Beckham left out of England squad
Quote: frostyboy @ January 31, 2008, 9:51 PMWhat a terrible shame.
Apparently so was my sketch about it - soooo, 2001!
Apart from perhaps Beckham himself, does anyone give a flying f**k?

Nope. Football? (YAWNS LOUDLY)
Yawn? HAH!
Brain haemorrhage, more like...
(YAWN) To sport in general actually. I always enjoy the faces of other men when they ask what team I support, and I tell them I dont support any, because I dont watch football, even though I have a penis; there faces droop so much in confusion it looks like theyre having a stroke.
YAWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNN to football! Sissy game!
Not. Impressed. Guys.

Again, yawn?! Brain haemorrhage!

When people ask me who I support, I usually make up some organisation... NOFSAPITB National Organisation For Putting A Pin In The Ball, NFASA National Federation Against Sport Alltogether.
Is there any point in sport? The most productive thing I've ever done in PE is start a strike! (playing hockey in the driving rain... ME: I'M GOING ON STRIKE! WHO'S WITH ME? )
Football is the greatest game in the world. There's no scientific basis for it, but it is scientific fact.
It's also encouraging that Fabio has made a common sense footballing decision that most common sense people would have made. Beckham hasn't been axed, he's just not been selected because he isn't match fit and won't be until he proves himself in league football (he hasn't played since November).
Sadly for David he might struggle to prove himself at a sufficiently high level unless he quits America.
I really like Beckham. He's been a great footballer - not as great as his image might suggest, but a damn good player all the same - and he's conducted himself with great dignity. Even now, in vowing to try and win his place back. Good luck to him.
I have to say I think Beckham and Crouch are about the only two England players I still have any faith in.
I really do believe these are the only guys left playing for the shirt.
I think the rest are playing for their clubs to buy a house a week and for their country so they can decorate them.
They should just give him his 100th Cap, and then let him f**k off back to LA. It's just a pointless friendly game against a pointless and friendly country, Switzerland.
I just wish Capello had of announced his squad a few days before the closure of the transfer window. Then Beckham would have realised that to get his 100th cap he should join Newcastle and get regular football. A little hopeful perhaps, but the rumours were great whilst they lasted.
Jesus.
You know what. David is an ex pretty boy that was quite a good player. Notice the WAS!!!!!!
I look at the likes of Rooney. Ugly f**ker, but good with the ball. He will never make it like DB has.
WHY????
Cause he aint a pretty.
F**k pretty. Give me a bit of old granny f**ker anyday. Wooooo.
Loves yer Roo Roo. x
