It was on for two seasons. I don't remember it been really popular but might be wrong. The Chopper character is proberly the best known. I think "Chopper" still does live stand up shows.

I could never get into it.

Cheers Reds. There is something about the Australian accent hat lends itself to comedy. I can't imagine similar material being as funny if done as a pastiche of the Krays etc..

I can't remember much of the accents used in that show, but Australian comic characters often have very strong accents, even to us.
