just got the recorded but cut email

Ditto.

I just got the good email! :D

Congrats David!

Quote: Badge @ October 11 2012, 5:53 PM BST

Congrats David!

Thanks Badge and commiserations on being cut yet again.

Celebrating on here is good but always slightly awkward, like winning the lottery at a funeral. Anyone else out there had the good news?

Nah, don't worry about that. Always glad someone on the BCG forum got a credit. And think you're the first double credit of the series. Am I right?

(Btw - any idea yet what it was?)

I was at the recording last night. Here's what I remember:

- 999 filter service to stop hoax calls

Did it go something like this:

You have chosen police. Is this a genuine call? Or is it a childish, time-wasting prank?
For genuine, press 1. Or for prank, press 2.

Are you sure? We're getting rather sick of hoaxes, you know. It's not nice.
For yes, press 1. Or for no, press 2.

Is that yes, it's genuine or yes, it's a prank?
We need to be absolutely sure about this. For genuine, press 1. Or for prank, press 2.

And so on, and so on...

(EDIT: Spelling mistake corrected)

If so, good news, it's mine.
Bad news, I didn't send it in.

Are you are missing winner?

Yep - I'm in. Very pleased, though I'm not kidding myself I'm any Stephen Burgess ;)

Well done David, Badge and Blahblah.

Thank you. No idea what it is. I will come back and tell after I hear the show.

Not sure if I'm the first double credit (if you don't count 3songs 4 in one show!). What about Stephen Burgess? ;)

Thank you. And to you, sir.

Well done Frantz. And all the Stephens.

congrats to all who made it in

listening live for a change.
I liked a couple of the Jackapps.

Don't worry I won't keep a live update going on

But It's something about Eric Pickles at the moment.

The 999 sketch was great.

Was that Mikey Jacksons?

Cripes, I'm so relaxed about NJ these days that this is the first time I've even looked at this thread today (that's what not sending stuff in for most of the series does for you).

Got my first ever 'recorded but cut' email, so I've now got the trifecta (recorded and broadcast, recorded and cut, not recorded in the first place 'cause it was a pile of cack). Congrats to the other near misses and genuine successes for this episode!
