We're now taking entries for the WeGotTickets Laughing Horse New Act of the Year 2013 competition....

Heats take place from November to January across the country, with heats in Bury, Nelson, Nottingham and Newcastle (and some more midlands/north of england heats to be confirmed). This this year the main winners cheque has doubled to £2,000 (thanks to those lovely people at WeGotTickets sponsoring us). Plus lots of other things like paid gigs and festival exposure for the winners.
The final will be held on May 26th 2013 at Highlight Camden, and as well as the prizes, it will also be infront of a lot of comedy industry faces to kick-start finalists careers, get an agent etc - usually the winners and finalists are a very good sign of who goes on to do well in the comedy industry, like previous winners and finalists over the last 12 years including Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall, Greg Davies, Rhod Gilbert, Daniel Rigby, Imran Yusuf, Nina Conti, Henning When and many more...
Any new act can enter, all the entry criteria are on the website.
