Had a great afternoon. Got to the checkout to realise I had no cards or cash or me. Had a gift card, so used that to buy the groceries. Then realised that my bus pass was in the same place as my cards and as I didn't have any cash had walk home....it was long walk.

Chip's found a weird black translucent slug like office accessory and popped it on his desk. It's pretty sassy.

At least you're keeping fit!

I'd rather be doing something fun.
Have given myself a sore back making a bloody gigantic cake (which tastes like shit, by the way).

Sorry, not funny but funny at the same time.
Had good news yesterday, it's not sciatica. It's just muscular pain that should go away with painkillers. I'll be back there at the end of the month if it doesn't, demanding a second opinion.
My other knee hurts, unrelatedly, and when I suggested arthritis he said I was too young, which really made me laugh. Docs, eh? What do they really know.
Sorry, this should go in "ailments", I suppose.
*High-five for random back and knee pain*
*Don't forget to add wrist to list after high-five*
Have you looked into joint hypermobility syndrome? You can join mine and Harridan's club! (It's not a great club, it mostly involves being in pain, but the standard of members is impeccable )
I have the most random complaints/ailments at times but hardly ever bother go to docs unless very serious. Some say hypochondria, I say bugger off, I feel it therefore it exists.
I'd love to join the club, is there an initiation ritual?
Had the first 10 pages of my new play read out today in my advanced play writing class, everyone said it was great, including my tutor.
The same 10 pages will be read out at the first Script Sessions live readings in Hackney tomorrow night to an audience of 50+ people.
You'd think I'd be big headed by such achievements, but I still haven't wrapped my head around the whole deal and personally think my play is nothing more then 'alright'. Until I get an agent / funding / a production secured, it's just ego stroking and that don't pay the gas bill.
However, I did discover the word dramaturg today, so will be throwing it around in conversation from now on in an attempt to look like an elite tossbag.
Congrats, RC.
I think I had a dramaturd earlier. Nearly never made the toilets. Very exciting.

Thang you. <3

Was Steve Mangan in it?

Also known as ligamentous laxity. I hereby claim my membership card.
*punches air, dislocates shoulder*

Congratulations, RC. I'm glad you're not big-headed about it.

Hey! Don't hit Oates Don't mock the Mangan, he's alright!

Cheers me dears. You can't get too excited about a bit of praise, there are loads of really talented writers on the BCG who've got further then me, but still fallen at the last hurdle.
It's a bit of crap shoot and talent doesn't always equal success. Luck (or the right school, accent, boyfriend, etc.) seems to be the biggest factor.
To test whether any of my flatmates read BCG, I've been pouring bleach into their milk.
