Doctor Who... Page 887

And they went past the fountain from the Friends opening credits

And the Dr had a monkey because he was sad that Martha Jones had left him for another woman, but she let him see his kid.

very liberated of him, oh no that was Blake 7

How Who Doin' ?

They're remaking that miserablist 70s Scifi show. But this time the Liberator is an interstellar ice cream van, protecting the last 7 99s. The space captain is the former first officer of the Enterprise

It's going to be called Frakes 7.

How Who Doin' ?

I take it means a monkey £500. Very reasonable in this day and age

Nahthat's the sequel where they find another 12 Space 19 99s.

There was even a US version based on time travel.

Called Quantum Lick.

Ah yes the crossover with the ice lolliers' a deadly race with sprinkles on.

So once I realised it was an angels episode, when I saw the statue of liberty I jokingly thought to myself "Bet that entire statue turns into an angel, ho ho". Then it actually happened. If more stuff from the inside of my head makes it onto the screen, we're all in Deep F**king Trouble.

Okay Who Apologists... you won't have Firefly or whatever held against it, you say you can't tell a story in 50 minutes etc, blah, etc, one word... PSYCHOVILLE style, content and... creativity!

I enjoyed the last episode, despite the Statue of Liberty. Rolling eyes

One thing though, and this may have been answered already, why was River Song not transported back in time when grabbed by the angel? Dunno if I missed the explanation, or that there just wasn't one.

It's not.

It wouldn't, because they explained why it couldn't in the scene; pay attention!

Sorry
That didn't explain it

But by the time I'd gone back a few pages I thought I'd quote it anyway.

Wasn't the Angel weakened or low on power or something?

Cheers Steve-O

I did enjoy this
And am just watching the last bit again, as I thought they did it really well.

But as I'm in this thread, I'm just wondering why the Tardis, something that takes the shape/form of it's surroundings (stuck or not) might need a repaint.

Quote: Marc P @ September 30 2012, 12:55 PM BST

That would create a timedimensional back flux in the spatial field of plot convenience that could only be solved if he had his sonic screwdriver, but the time lords decreed that no sonic screwdrivers are allowed on trains, so he would have to leave it in the Tardis. It's quite obvious really! Tuts.

Why say all that when you can simply say "Blinovitch Limitation Effect"?

You need to relax, Sooty. Get a massage.

I can arrange this for you Sooty. Soothing stuff. And I know a bunch of unmarried female Chinese masseuses all keen for an English husband.
