Best kind regards

I've noticed that most writers/ producers/ animators/ film makers etc sign off e-mails - best. where as most professional folk sign off regards or kind regards.

and some e-mail cameleons change their sign offs to match yours.

how do you sign off and why ?

many thanks

NR

These are my typical sign offs....

Chow for now.

Best whooshes.

Suck it, f**kers.

Whatever.

I'm a Chameleon.

many thanks

I have a sig at the bottom of my emails saying:

Do NOT send me forwarded emails...I hate the f*ckers.

Depends who I'm e-mailing, and if I've contacted them before. Sometimes just "Aaron", sometimes "A.", and sometimes nothing at all. Oh, and of course best, regards, etc.

Generally if it's a first e-mail, I'll close with "Best wishes", moving onto "Best".

"I have you child - Luap"

"Leave the money under the tree - Captain Paul"

But generally I tend to send with "Kind Regards" as well though :D

"This email contains a virus... you now have AIDS."

Mine says regards to everyone I set it as signature so dont have to worry bout it. Outlook rocks.

On non-friend emails, I often find myself kissing arse with such phrases as 'thank you so much for your time' etc.

I try not to because if they think I'm polite they'll have a hell of a fcuking shock when they meet me but sometimes a little ass kissing is requied to sweeten them up a bit

I've always wondered why someone I know signed off his emails with best, and, as he used to work in the industry, now I know why! Thanks!

Suck it, f**kers.

If you should reach 100, that's how the telegram from the Queen ends.

if I know them it's: Yours sincerely,
if not: Yours faithfully,

If friends: cheers, j.

Well that's only for the uber-formal.
