Just as I thought!
Your thoughts about the BNP Page 2
I had no idea what you people were talking about so I Wiki'ed it and this is what I discovered:
OMRLP are in fact awesome, and the BNP not awesome in any sense of awesomeness.
Thank you Wikipedia.
Thank God for the sanity of Wikipedia in an insane world
Multiculturism is indeed a welcome thing to my mind (as I come from a multicultiral family) but people shouldn't be forced to integrate if they don't want to.
Also, I don't think the British government are right to allow immigration if there is no work or affordable housing available. It's degrading for immigrants to have to live on benefits because there is no work for them.
As for the BNP, I don't know what their policies are these days but if they are anything like the Tories, Labour or Liberals I'd say they should be 'tarred' and feathered using treacle!!!

The fact we're discussing it is what disturbs and worries me about multiculturalism the most. The fact we're distinguishing between different cultures in such a manner is what leads to the perception (whether real or not) of one community, society, whatever, getting treated differently from others, thus sparking that resentment which leads back to the growth of "extremist groups". The sooner we can stop making special cases for certain sections of society, the better!

Definitely agree with this. Despite what I may say or what impression I may give, I really have no problem with immigration in principle. Most of us are here in this country through migration (or invasion ), and going back through history, particularly that of London, it's always been a story of continued and unrelenting immigration. But the way in which it's happening at the moment is simply unsustainable. People are coming and flooding into the same few areas, not spreading around. And again, whilst that's always happened, in the past there's been more of an effort to integrate with the established communities. That just doesn't seem to be happening now so much, and these enclaves develop, and again giving extremists of one form or another a platform to argue from. But the real issue is that in the past, there's never been such an all-encompassing welfare state, never such extensive obligations for local authorities to look after people. I'm sure many of you saw the stories in the press over the past few days about hospital units having to shut so that the staff can be deployed elsewhere, due to increased demand from immigrant communities. That is the reality of the matter, down on the ground, and something which the Government will argue blind isn't happening. And yet again, it's something which fuels the resentment and hatred that fuels extremism.
Solution? F**k knows!
Jeez, what is it about this forum and controversial race / immigration / religion / lifestyle / politics / war etc discussions? These sort of threads, which seem to keep cropping up, make me a bit nervous and generally quite depressed
Can't we talk about fluffy bunnies or comedy instead?
Yes please! I vote bunnies.
BNP = Bunnies Not Politics.
I once wrote a sketch about the BNP being infiltrated and 3 members at a news conference were denying it. The third member was black.
Its a pretty weird thread though cos who's going to say 'I love the BNP'
How lardular!

Didn't you see that story a while back about the black immigrant member? Their 'policies' aren't just "kill all darkies" as is portrayed by the popular press!

Nick Griffin, at a guess.

Publically. I suspect not privately.
