Maddy's falls asleep.

Maddy walks into her daughters room (Grace).

Mummy, I can't sleep will you sing me a song?

MADDY

Maddy dances around the room doing the gangnam dance.

Nice idea, but.. the dates don't gel, imo. Assuming Maddy is around 5 years old in 1940, she would be 77 in 2012.. with a daughter of an age to sing bedtime songs to? Dunno..

Maybe make Grace her granddaughter? Plus:
