I'm getting rid of Fellaini. Cue him scoring a hattrick next week.

It's not so much him scoring it as will the assistant ref let him have it.

I wouldn't. My first sub would have taken VP's place (Dembele) and the captaincy would have moved to my VC (Cazorla), I'd have been five points better off.

To summarise, f**k you Fergie.

Okay I didn't consider the captaincy switching. I thought it was the other Alex you hated...

Checked my points this afternoon and I had 23 - ten minutes later it's down to 15. Looks like they gave me clean sheets for the Fulham and Sunderland games before they ended and then took them back. Why would you do that?

It is cruel :)

I've had a bit of a mare today. My decision to bench Fellaini and play Michu backfired in ridiculously spectacular fashion. I'm on 14 points, Fellaini will get that on his own with the inevitable 3 bonus.

I'm on 36
Not a bad day

But I'm not sure whether to expect much from my Liverpool Lads tomorrow

Not quite a hattrick, but a mistake on my part. Also, Terry only played for 5 minutes, so I lost a clean sheet bonus for him. 5 points total today. Most of my team is playing tomorrow though, so I await the games eagerly.

Had three injuries to deal with this week plus Reina in goal (Don't ask). Still happy with MignoIet but nearly bought in Foster who did get a clean sheet. Didn't see the game but it seems West Ham were lucky to draw.

Also benched Fellaini - just to get a stake in the Tottenham slaughter-to-be and have lost 3 against Nathan Dyer who got himself sent off. Had him since the start of the season so can't complain. Eight cards in that match!

Bought Michu and Hazard on the basis of other people choosing them but I'm not going to do that anymore. I'd rather lose with players I believe in.

ca·pit·u·la·tion /ka-pit-u-lay-shun/ Noun.

Wish it was otherwise though. :(

Ben, why have you left the original BCG league? There were too many people we didn't know - you've made it worse by leaving...

I need to make a couple more weekly transfers to get rid of my earlier mistakes.
But I've got 6 million spare & and a wildcard so I hope to get my team a lot better over the next month or so.

Wildcard - you lucky beggar.

I was going to get rid of Lambert due to Southamptons rubbishness.
But I forgot about Aston Villas rubbishness

(Sorry Gerry) :D

Lambert is a fantastic player and I'd have him in my side if I didn't have Fletcher. Villa's keeper is also top notch. (Guzan)

Southampton were always going to win - their lack of points don't look so bad when you consider they've already played City, United and Arsenal.

Great! Now Vidic isn't playing! Or De Gea! I'm getting rid of De Gea as Ferguson seems to want to keep rotating him and Lindegaard.

Top of the pops this week is Shaggy, with 63 points. Custard pie down the trousers for Dan and Godot, both scoring 38.

Yeah, well done to shaggy.

What a disaster this week was. What a disaster. Totally f**ked having three injured players. Still got two defenders out - three if you count Kompany, who's been playing like he's injured. 8 points in five games - what a useless bastard.

Can't see it improving for me next week - need to get rid of Kompany and Dem-bell-end and those two sicknote defenders.

Nice to see Gerard score, Don.

Yeah, he's a proven high point scorer and will play every game, barring injury. I'm quite happy with my squad - just need a couple of strong weeks to push up the table.

The BCG league is shaping up nicely, actually. Shame we're not playing for a tangible prize. It won't happen, but next year we should all put £20 into a jar - winner takes the lot.
