Sootyj Friday is red pills day not the yellow ones!

Eh?

Was wondering if people got the significance of the white bicyclr

I've worked out what it must mean, but I didn't know they did that.

Its quite a new thing a white bicycle is left as a memoral where a cyclist is killed and then people leave flowerw

Well, with that knowledge, it is funny!

If you have to explain it...

Could you explain that last remark please?

Ah. Did not know that.

They're called 'Ghost bikes' started in the states about ten years ago.

I don't know about this American tribute bollocks, but over here deaf cyclists ride white bikes so that motorists will know they're a bit mutton and will give them a bit of a wider berth.

Another way to tell if they're deaf is to sound the horn very loudly right behind them.
If they fall off, they're not deaf.

Maybe you just need a previous sketch to inform of the meaning behind the white bike. Then your sketch works fine, without having to complicate it with explanations.

Two guys driving along, they notice a white bike chained to a tree, with flowers, etc...

Guy1: I like the way they set up these memorials. It really makes you think.

Guy2: You don't find it distracting?

As both guys are busy looking out the side window, a naked lady runs past the front of the car.

I guess they'll have to move the white van out of the way first.

If I'd known the Bicycle thing then I'd have thought it was great.
Not sure about a recurring character though, unless you can be very inventive with it.
Although it could work as one of those where you know what's coming and it's funny because of that.
At the Ice skating, at the funeral parlour, at the Chelsea flower show etc.

*I say etc, I may have run out at that point though.
