Derek Grim or Gene Hunt

Who do you think the funniest CID officer is: Derek Grim (The Thin Blue Line) or Gene Hunt (Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes) Can't decide myself. Both hilarious characters, it has to be said.

That's a tough one. Love them both. I think it would have to be...a tie. :D

That's a tough one but Grim just has the edge for me.

Yep, Grim is more naturally funny in himself. Hunt is only funny in terms of his reactions and attitudes to others.

Hunt!

Or maybe Grim....

:(

Has to be a tie.
If I chose either one I'd just keep doing what zooo did ad infinitum

Grim easily - fussy is funny!

Thin blue line , the home of Rowan Atkinson's political platform disguised as ''comedy''.

A tie Ian! I don't think Gene would be happy with a tie - unless it had been down a tart's cleavage or was covered in Watneys and Heinz Cream of Tomato.

I think you're right. I must have gone out and voted nine or ten times an episode, but I never laughed once.

His Mr Bean is hilarious isn't it , he is the Modern Chaplin.

But then , Chaplin was shite too.

Grim.
