Spent tonight at a philosophy meeting whereby I realised there's no such thing as freedom.

Did they lock you all in?

I dreamt a psychological horror novel. My mind didn't even bother turning into a nightmare, it was all in scenes for me to write down! Quite annoyed as I have other important work to be getting on with, but going to have to bloody write it now.

Is fearing the backlash when I announce am probably not going to be able to make the picnic I suggested!! :(

Is that make as in 'turn up' or make as in "devilling a few quail's eggs" ?

Been asked to design some large display boards for a conference in Malta next week. My brief is '3 logos - one one each panel'.

Will perhaps require further information.

Excellent choice but alas... perhaps both!

There's a picnic? I'm losing touch.

Me too. Must be because I'm too busy focusing on issuing the injunction against sooty because of his obsession with my underwear and bathing habits...

:O

So if groovy with everyone, we'll meet at 3pm Regents Park Tube, cross over to park for nibbles and drinkies, then meander to Artichoke for 5.30pm-ish?

Saturday 22nd Sept, just over a week! Eight confirmed and six maybes!

That's "The Queen and Artichoke" in Albany St. for those who have not been reading the "Drinks" topic.

Which reminds me of a crappy joke from another forum.

A crook named Artie robs a grocery store . There is only one dollar in the till . In a fit of anger he strangles the store manager and the clerk . Newspaper head lines read --ARTIE CHOKES TWO FOR A DOLLAR

I am very disappointed that I can't make the Sheringham 40's weekend but don't fear any backlash cos no-one else was coming. :(

Oh good, I should be in Peterborough next month, I'll drop some stuff off. Mates rates?

In other news, a person who has not seen me for 20 years asked my OH how I was getting on because she heard I am 'confined to a wheelchair.' Before he could answer she continued, 'what a shame, she used to be so pretty.'
Huh?

Confined to a wheel chair, sounds like the disabled version of 50 shades of grey.

Apologies couldn't resist

I shall assume he punched her in the eye and then said, 'what a shame you used to be so pretty.'
