There was a big moth in AJGO's sink that she tried to gently take out but it's wings were wet and are stuck together so I'm adopting it as a house-pet. What do big moths like to eat?

I don't think they are known for eating people but we had several in our bedroom the other night and in the morning I had strange red lumps on my arm, like insect bites. I bet the killer moths did it.

Poor moths always getting blamed for what vampires do.

Bloody useless vampires if they couldn't tell an arm from a neck.

Lettuce or woolly pullovers in my experience !

Pirate

They have ruined 3 or 4 of my pullies this year.

I think it's the moth eggs hatching that eat jumpers, not moths that fly around. Will try some lettuce.

I offered it some Loopey but it said delightful as you sound it doesn't eat people. Although it did seem to like sitting on my hand..

Atleast they know their arse from their elbow?

No, that's a myth..........no, sorry that's a female moth...... :$

Aw, it's sitting on my hand and it just rubbed its little moth face with its little moth paw!

Well don't let it become too attached to you.
But while you have it close up test the arse and elbow theory.

Wow! Either you have excellent eyesight (as well as lovely hats) or it's a bloody big moth!

D'aw. There was a pic of a REALLY cute rare fluffy moth doing the rounds recently. Wonder if I can find it.

A ha! The Venezuelan Poodle Moth.
No idea if it's real, but I think it is.

One thing I don't understand is how tiny clothes moths (or rather their grubs) can eat such vast amounts of woolly pullovers. You never see the grubs & the moths are tiny. With the amount they eat, I'd expect to see half-pound caterpillars roaming around. Cool

Both! (I like you and your hat based compliments :D)

Moth has now dried out enough to fly away. Sad to see it go but one always knows in their heart that a pet moth will one day spread it's wings or die.

Fended off attempted moth attacks from the cat, who much as I hate to anthropomorphise must have been jealous of the attention being given to temporary pet moth or cat never would have eaten moth's lettuce. Cat didn't even look happy about it but chewed it in surly manner nonetheless Laughing out loud

Edit: Nope, was me anthropomorphising, cat has gone mental for lettuce. Have had to confiscate it so she doesn't develop a narcotics problem

A Bobowler.

Spent tonight at a philosophy meeting whereby I realised there's no such thing as freedom.
