I quite like that, even though I hate Jim Davidson as a person.

Good point. Most people are thinking the person rather than the show when they run it down. Up the Elephant, whilst clearly comedy base metal at least contained some comedy, unlike slick dross like 'Twenty Twelve'.

It's got to be 'Bottle Boys' starring Robin Askwith, a kind of Confessions meets 'On the Buses' and dire beyond belief. But there are so many really, almost any ITV sitcom with the exception of Rising Damp and Please Sir.

LOATHED Tittybangbang, for what it's worth.

That twee family sitcom with Caroline Quentin the name of which I appear to have expunged from my memory. I do not think I have ever seen a comedy programme so utterly lacking in soul or ambition.

(I quite like both Big Top and Twenty Twelve.)

Life of Riley?

You had to remind me - it's all coming flooding back now Teary

Worst ever is a toss up between, The Upper Hand, and Outnumbered. There was also a Jasper Carrot sitcom where he was a married man who had a disabled son?, that was dire

Life of Riley?

No one sets out to make a bad show, but in the case of Life of Riley they did not set out to make a good one. It was simply a calculating attempt to reach out to a demographic that the makers held in apparent contempt.

This in my eyes makes it far worse than all the Clones and Persuasionists and Gemma Factors.

And as for the person who nominated Outnumbered, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Except you.

Outnumbered best comedy for years. Andy Hamilton is a God.

My Hero was absolutely horrible

Curry and Chips was terrible.

In recent times, The Persuasionists stands out.

I forgot about that, I like Adam Buxton and Ian Lee, but it was pretty awful from what I remember.

Outnumbered is presumably funny if you've got small children. If not it's nauseatingly twee.

Worst sitcom for me would be some 1990s dross called "Honey For Tea" starring Felicity Kendal with an appalling American accent. From what I can remember the only gag was that her character had a surnmae like Tabasco that people kept mispronouncing.
