Now if I went on line saying you sexually abused ducks down the park. Then I'm harassing and slandering you, again 2 crimes.

I've just realised that here's a thread for that called "Make an unfounded claim about the poster above you". Strange. ;)

I think we all have to remember that an 11 year old child has full perspective on the world and in life. Even the ones who haven't had the pleasure of being punched in the gut and/or being called names on Facebook. These kids know the truth, that they only have to put up with this shit for the next 6 years and it's not the end of the world. It's just a good job it doesn't happen at the most vulnerable point in their lives eh.

Yes, we all had the benefit of perspective when we were kids. Of course we do.

I had work place bullying once. No nobody thumped me, but it's numbingly dispiriting. Going into work and being avoided or ignored or undermined for weeks. I suppose that makes me some sort of weakling who should stop moaning.
Funny didn't feel like it at the time. At the time it just felt like despair.

IMO bullying is bullying, victims are victims, whatever form it takes and however it affects them.
Retrospective Console for Soots.

Quite physical violence is an additional crime which happens concurrently

Sometimes a punch on the nose is less hurtful than being driven into depression by (online) bullying

Depends on how hard you punch, if you can totally shatter the nose in one blow, I mean really spread that f**ker out across someones face so they need three bouts of corrective surgery, have sinus problems for the rest of their lives and totally ruin their sense of smell forever then you've done the job right.

Making them afraid to leave the house ever again as a result of the attack is a bonus along with the black / blood filled eyes they'll be sporting for weeks.

Or you could make a Facebook page that says they're rubbish.

Againthat's not bullying it's assault or GBH.

The two can be connected.

What is your point actually RC? You have to accept that some people are not that mentally strong (as you are).

As has been pointed out too, a lot of this sort of bullying, and the type that keen lead to the darkest end result, is between, essentially, kids, who don't have the luxury or security of an adult perspective.

But if someone wants to belittle the very real effect it can have, then go right ahead.

Nothing really it's just a pointless windup.

But it seems to keep him amused. Otherwise he'd probably be putting bins in cats or something.

According to my good friend Wikipedia, the UK doesn't even have a legal definition for bullying. So therefore, it doesn't exist in this country. ;)

As for which is the best kind of bullying - emotional, verbal or physical - I've seen loads of Van Damme movies and not once do the fellow prisoners club together to make up Tweets to destroy his confidence.
