I've just seen... Page 303

Inception and Sucker Punch are 2 films where they both so desperately stuffed FX on the screen. They were beyond utterly boring.

Matrix was good though.

for anyone getting to mysty eyed over 80s actioners

I felt the same way about Inception. Nice to look at, but the story was so pants and the characters so mundane, that I just sat back and enjoyed the Hans Zimmer soundtrack.

I couldn't even be bothered to finish watching the film.

Annoyingly there was a really good scifi idea in it.

Like a walnut whip buried in a dog turd,

I haven't seen Shutter Island, but I'm now wary if you think it's good. What with Mr and Mrs Smith...

Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a fun film, it's not deep or thought provoking, but as a romantic action comedy it is much better then the countless copies it spawned. Brangelina had good chemistry, the action set pieces were more then competent and bits of it made me laugh out loud.

If people are dissing the film because of Brad and Angelina, then there's nothing I can do about the prejudice.

I enjoyed Inception, but had an impromptu nap immediately after watching it, so I was very confused when I woke up.

Shutter Island is like watching a stuttering alcoholic comedian tell a 3 hour joke.

When you guessed the punchline in minute 1.

Interestingly accurate on psychiatric treatments though.

What like one of your standup routines?

You f**k off! The audience love me.

Like a paedophile uncle getting to babysit their mute nephew.

F**k off.

(God I'm bored when I start reediting my own posts)

It was very atmospheric and suspenseful and the conversation DeCrapio has in the Jeep with the Colonel is brilliantly chilling. A good film, well made.

Thought you didn't like DiCaprio?

Thought you didn't like DiCaprio?

I don't, it was the guy playing the Colonel who was brilliant. Dicrapio still looked like a kid playing dress up.

The massacre scene of the Nazis was quite effecting.

Ugh. I have seen so many episodes of Sex and the City (had to in a girls' boarding house) - what a horrible bunch of women. I remember one episode where Sarah Jessica Parker was invited to a baby's birthday party and flipped her lid when asked to remove her shoes in someone else's house "This is an outfit!" and then someone nicked her shoes and she made the parent of the baby pay $600 for a new pair. $600 shoes? You deserve to be battered to death with those shoes, you horrible excuse for a human being.

I remember that episode and sympathised with SJP. She had her shoes nicked after being made to take them off in somebody elses house! She was completely in the right.

Idiot. You're all idiots for dismissing genuinely great films.

:D

I literally fell asleep.

Agreed. Shoe-nazis are the worst human beings on the planet.

Why aren't you? Don't dare tell me you've gone and got yourself a life.
