Just to clear up the confusion, the pole I'm carrying is not my projector screen, it's a length of plumber's pipe I colour matched to the handrail on the Circle line. When I say the video was "inspired by" passengers grabbing hold of my projector screen I mean that I used those real life incidents as the starting point then developed the idea. During my act I set things up in a way that's less confusing I think.

Ah, maybe you should remove the projector pole mention completely? I totally missed the "inspired by" bit.

It just looks like a yellow pole to me. Nothing more/less. I have a fairly average level of intelligence/common sense (if that). I think the majority of people will just see a yellow pole. Maybe, my brain isn't dynamic enough to see more. I will keep looking. Is it like one of those 'magic eye' books? I can't do them either. It all looks like a load of psychedelic anchovies to me. Unlike your yellow pole...which just looks like a yellow pole.

Ugh...now I feel cheated!

Talking of psychedelic...I saw your website. I'm still trying desperately to re-attach my retinas!! I could have died.

I watched it just as it is without taking into account any whys or wherefores, who was in it or what the yellow pole actually was and blah blah...

I thought it was very funny.

Is the yellow pole now our new God?

Of course, there will be people who believe the red pole is God, and those that believe the yellow pole was only a messenger for a green pole. Anyway, it won't end well.

It also works as a good psychological experiment, our eyes see what we think should be there, that's why it's funny.

Well funny. I watched that and laughed.

I viewed it as a prank, hidden camera thing, so I don't think you need to know what the pole is. It's just peoples looking like idiots's.

Also, does any one think that the unspectacled Matt Stott looks like someone out of The Joy of Sex book?
