Didn't you laugh when Reece asked the criminal if he'd arrested him for wanking off a horse?
What are you watching on TV? Page 1,641
Looking forward to Matt Berry's pilot tonight, even if it is 'in the media' and all producers ever tell me is that channel's aren't interested in shows linked to 'the media', as people can't 'relate'. BULL CRAP, I SAY! For people not interested in shows linked to 'media', they sure do make a lot of them.
Seinfeld is about to begin on TV.

Yeah they do, because they're obsessed with themselves and don't have the creative vision to see outside their own bubble, alas. Sad face.
Watched this thinking it was the first episode of a new sitcom and I absolutely loved the hatred I felt for it. This is the first time in a while I've been stirred enough to try and kick my TV so well done to it for that!
Reminded me a lot of that equally as bad Milton Jones pilot, and I think the makers of this may just have glanced at it? Definitely intended as a one off because this style of sitcom would have viewers doing serious injury to themselves and others if made into a whole series. The prison scene did have me smiling, I'll concede, but I thought it was much better done in Viz.

Yes, it is a weird paradox. Although to be fair, writers do tend to just write about what they know, and once they've achieved a certain level of success all they really know is the cloistered media world.
I enjoyed it, especially his fights, and the "yes".
I missed it. I'm bloody tired out by 9 nowadays!

You've just just summed up perfectly why this is a golden 'not to do' rule for writers. Real writers either travel to different lands, put themselves in a different culture or class or situation or if they're that anal and lazy, at least read up on and research different ones. There really is no excuse for this insular media world obsessed rubbish that we still get way too much of.

That's what I do.

Was watching The Great British Bakeoff, mmm, bagels.
Watching the Accused

Olivia Coleman has some acting chops

Am taping that, which means I may never get to see it.
The Queen's Mother-in-Law. Princess Alice had a fairly extraordinary life.
"Them from that thing."
After the first few seconds I was dissapointed when the predictable twist occurred, and no gags followed. The next sketch wasn't any better. I Fast forwarded to a psychic award's acceptance speech which was a slight improvement, but not actually particularly funny, and so I gave up. How do so many stars get to perform such a mediocre script (assuming it was like this throughout)?
*(Perhaps it got better, did anyone persevere?)
