;) True Ben, I had to remove my flock nighty and at least 3 blankets! first time not needed the leccy' blanket.

Ha Ha. The concept of a summer blanket seems so strange to me, let alone three.

Meanwhile I have tired to make a syrup tonight. The sugar didn't dissolve properly so ended up with a burnt mess. Now my flat smells like burnt sugar

:) Yuck burnt sugar smell so bitter, well you might laugh but its only 12c here in ruddy summer at night- need me covers!

I haven't been cold at night for about 6 months.
I can't wait to be cold at night!

I hate trying to sleep when it's humid and STILL my cats feel the need to try and crawl all over and sleep under my chin and across my legs.

I had to evict multiple cats from my person last night. I think they get more insistently cuddly when it is warm.

If only they'd invent some sort of wooden, close-y sort of thing you could attach to your wall.
;)

Mine know how to open the door. Plus I can't deny anything the simple pleasure of spending the night with me.

So tired. Why am I so tired?
Even lovely lovely coffee hasn't helped :(

Do you have a really short body?

You've got a pm . . .

Chip's just been wandering around with a portable projector screen under his arm. It looked a bit like he was carrying a bazooka. Cool

Going to the orthodontist...then swimming. Can't wait to have all pain inflicted on me yet again...by all the kicking punching and screaming in my ears. Yes...swimming is a health hazard and should come with a government warning. If my gob aches too...I'll not be in the mood to stifle my objections.

Just watching the first bit of Sky's first ever home grown comedy GATES, my sides are still intact so far, but I am liking the big MARK PEARSON painted on the side of one of the main character's van.

The show should probably have it's own thread, this opening ep written by five writers - which is odd!

theyve made loads from the mediocre Mount Pleasant to the superlative Spy

THey call it that themselves. I think they mean this is the first they have conceptualised and then hired writers to throw at it. Lucy Lumsden dropping kids off at school gates and has an epithany kind of thing. REminds me a bit of SPY, which I preferred. Some chuckles thus far, stellar performances but not quite gelling for me as yet as much as SPY, maybe first ep itis?
