Did Danny Boyle have a hand in the production of the closing ceremony? I missed it, unfortunately. From the snippets I have seen, it looks great. I love the music and the bands that were featured, well most of them.

Same here buddy. I found the Olympics to be a brilliant distraction and the whole thing seemed very uplifting despite all the corporate bollox and political grandstanding.
BBC2 showed a programme about last year's London Riots, featuring the opinions of those that took part in looting and violence. Compared to the to the bright colours, fun spirit and athletic achievements of the London Games, it was like being told you caught Aids after shagging a beautiful woman.
