Not much has changed apart from 4 years ago I was still married.
I hope I'll have met someone within the next 4.

Four years ago life was boring, lonely and unfulfilling with the future looking vague and worryingly uncertain. Four years ahead is still pretty much the same.
Four years ago, I was thinking how glad I was that the Olympics had finished.
Today, I'm thinking how glad I am that the Olympics have finished.
No idea what I'll be thinking in another four years time, mind.

The Beijing Olympics didn't finish till 24th August 2008.
Four years ago today, following an inspiring start to the Beijing Olympics, I decided to use the inspiration as a positive force and lose some serious blubber.
My avatar shows the success I achieved.
Plus, on that day I decided drop Rohypnol as my drug of choice - as with my new svelte figure - I guessed I wouldnt need it!

Er, yeah, I was looking into a crystal ball at the time.
Sorry, Mr Cowards. I guess that'll teach me for being a pedant regarding King Harold and all that.

Have you tried this stuff?
I don't like this thread.

It's depressing in the same way as New Year.
Awww.
I think it's a bit panic inducing, myself.
I'm going to try and remain British and not get too emtional. But four years ago I was very happy and had everything I wanted. Today, four years later I have nothing and feel like shite. I have no idea what is going to happen in four years time? Hopefully I will be back on my feet again.

This has just coincided with a bad time for you. Who knows - maybe a year ( or less ) from now, life will be good. Bad times don't last forever.

Thanks, although I'm not so full of despair that I think I will be in the same place in 4 years time. I hope not anyway!

Ta.
Shit then, shit now and shit in four years time when I will be 70yo ffs.
Four years ago... I'd been back from travelling for 8 months, had my first proper job in London and was partying hard. Living the single life... having a great time. I was about 3 stone heavier though and pretty unhealthy.
Now, I'm happily in my 3rd proper job, prospect of moving in with my amazing boyfriend happening soon, and still in London.
4 years from now... marriage? Kids? I hope so.
