Hmm, I still don't see any malice behind it, Des is one of the nicest blokes in telly apparently, not given to personal attacks on Twitter or anything. I think he may have had a bit of nastiness from some for his smoothie ladies man persona that a few wimmin willfully mistook for real, could it be a gentle payback for that, maybe? I still don't see it, I think he just doesn't like female voice commentaries that much, and they are quite new still.
So it seems that, in the end, that Tom Daley actually did rather well.
I did enjoy hearing Barry Davies commentating on the Hockey.
