Thats proper mental. Welcome to my f**king head.
The fact that you even think that pretty much proves you're not sexist, you big idiot.
Quote: zooo @ August 10 2012, 1:09 PM BSTBy the way, you might get on better with gouache or acrylic paints. Oils are pretty difficult. Especially for a beginner! I never liked using 'em. (Back when I was arty in the old days.)
Acrylics ftw!

As a matter of interest, zooo, what tube station do you use most?

It's probably going to cost around £12 we think all-in but luckily my parents should be paying a pretty hefty chunk of that, thank dog. The food is the stupid expensive bit- £38 per person for the meal. But we're saving money on the night by having a chip van!

I will definitely try that!

The chip van is brilliant- they venue own it themselves as a quirky evening food option- I think we're going for the 'cone of chips with two small portions of fish' for I think £6.50. Much cheaper than the buffet or hog roast, and I think it's a bit interesting and fun. Plus the fact it is cones is nice. I will insist they are proper paper cones though and not the nasty polystyrene ones!
And obviously I meant 12 grand, you meanies.
Heee.
Chip van sounds excellent.
Quote: sootyj @ August 10 2012, 11:26 AM BSTI've missed tubes for that exact reason.
I mean this big train thundering into an enclosed space.
Its quite dangerous when you think about it.
(am I going to have to reedit my own posts).
Which is why the new stations enclose the actual tube train space and only open the enclosure doors when the train is in and stopped.
There's not many of them though...
