Golly gosh ! I've always wondered what a tampon looks like . . .
Before or after?

A period of time?
Can one smoke a tampon then?
P.S. too pissed to type . . going to bed ..

Quote: Harridan @ August 8 2012, 12:56 AM BSTI've not been drinking much tea for the last 10 days as I've been off work, so my caffeine tolerance has gone through the floor. Had a cup of tea at 10pm and I cannot get to sleep. Not even a bit tired.
If you've got this far, why not cut down even further to see what happens? Of course caffeine can be a useful substance, but imagine the freedom of not ever needing it.

Thanks Another quote for my future poster. That and the generic 'funny as a bag of tickles' and 'get off please, we're waiting to clean the floor'.
Re Tea - I hear you! Spolier alert - I'm such a boring old f... I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke, I don't even like taking headache tablets let alone hard drugs and I usually go to bed at a reasonable hour. And to try and improve a health issue I've been consulting a nutritionist and following a kind of detox diet for a year (the year is up in about ten days!) No wheat yeast dairy (apart from a little butter - rock n roll!) no sugar no processed foods. no to most fruits etc etc and I only drink water.
I never drank much tea and coffee before though and it had to be decaf. Even diet coke which I know is evil but delicious I had as decaf. Occasionally I'd lapse and have a diet coke out with lunch or something but then by about midnight I'd be like someone normal on a few lines of coke - yabbering away about nothing and feeling very creative. I once 'created' a 'collage' in the middle of the night. I thought it was brilliant til I woke up and threw it in the bin! (is that what being drunk is like?) It does sometimes work writing wise though.
So when my year is up I should have a really strong coffee, not sleep for three days and write an award winning novel! I keep meaning to try it as an experiment - David Lynch style - he used to have a lot of coffee and high cocoa chocolate when writing Twin Peaks to give him a buzz. This is what we should be teaching our kids - never mind smoking crack just stay off caffeine for a week then get a starbucks hit you'll be good to go!
And re coffee which I always thought was evil - apparently there are lots of health benefits too - and that counts for decaf as well which is good for us H, eg

I know one week they say something is bad then its good again but there seems to be a fair amount of evidence in its favour.
Why can't I write short posts like everyone else? This is why I had to give up twitter after a week!

Happy. I have a workable computer. For months I have had problems. Now I have a laptop with an external keyboard and mouse, (after spilling oil over the keys of the laptop). I'm a happy bunny. It could also have something to do with the Cloudy Bay wine I am inhaling. Either way, I am feeling no pain.
Having a real terrible time of it. Dan's temp contract was cut short so he is now jobless and my account just ran out of cash. What were we thinking moving to Middlesbrough?? We've got his parents coming to stay with us for a few days on Sunday, and I'm not sure how I will afford to buy enough food for all of us. Guh.
Oh dear. Do you have an overdraft facility?
Hope it all works out. You must be due some good luck?
I'm at the top of my overdraft
Yikes.
Reminds me - though it's no bloody help to you - of an expression my Mum used to use - FHB.
It stood for "Family Hold Back" - for when you had guest over for tea and there wasn't quite enough to go round.
Also reminds me of my extremely tight grandmother who would always cut one slice of bread less than the number of people at the table - " In case somebody doesn't want one."
Hope it works out.

Banks can sometimes extend that limit just for that month but obviously paying it back next time will hurt.
Could you both maybe explain the situation to his parents?
