Who thinks that an infected anal boil is a good topic of conversation at a BBQ?

Mrs Brady Old Lady would.

And she could tell you all about the problems she has with her labia.

Every single time I eat in M&S cafe, old women sit next to me and discuss their various illnesses with each other. Not great for the appetite.

The media going on and on about why we haven't won many medals.

Are you Australian?

Just realised something that's been annoying me subconsciously for years: the intro music used on stand-up shows on TV and radio. That awful generic 'get in the mood for some fun' music that is talked over by a voiceover artist with an irritating 'this is big news' voice. I hate it so f**king much.

..annoying: the intro music..

Incidental music has been pissing me off for years. It doesn't work anymore - overkill. 'Day of the Jackal' had it right all those years ago: no incidental music whatsoever, which added to the tension, imo.

I think Eye Of The Tiger works really well as intro music and is perfectly acceptable.

Attempted banter, Harridan..

I wondered about it but don't think so. I think it's just a case of trying to assert authority when it's not really necessary. That or joking, I can't tell.

You watch it, the post will be deleted shortly.
