I was the penultimate person to cross the finish line in the 1998 London Marathon BBC broadcast as the credits were rolling.
As the shot panned out to show the mall you could see the paramedics performing open heart surgery as my lungs burst out of chest.
I finished behind wombles and rhinos so I wasn't exactly in the lead pack!

I was penultimate person to cross the line during the broadcast not the whole thing. Officially I did 5:12 but some took 8 hours.
