Seriously, I've just read a few of your blogs and found them very interesting and helpful really. Like quite a few on here, I'm interested in writing comedy and trying to find the best way in.

Just had an email from Newsrevue that seems to indicate that all 4 sketches I've submitted this week are in the running for next week so fingers crossed.
He said they were in the 'in tray' as opposed to the bin tray so at least I know they are being considered.

how do you get the running order?
I've no first hand experience - I suggest you read back this thread to see the process - but they generally mail the running order out Thursday but it can be a few days after.

I didn't say that. I said that they were 'in the running' and not 'in the running order'.
I'd been told that all four I'd submitted were with the director and had not been rejected so I had therefore made the first cut. It maybe that none get used or all four but I still look upon it as positive news.
I've had two emails in four days from two different members of the team so that's as good a start as I could've expected.
Sorry if I was misleading. 
Amazing. How the hell did that happen? I've written for NR for three years and the first I hear about anything is when I look at the running orders. Are you sleeping with a cast member?
